A New EPICENTER Event in CS:GO Announced with $300,000 at Stake
Epic Esports Events have revealed the first information on their next Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event EPICENTER 2018. The tournament will be back to Moscow in October of this year, with ten teams competing for a $300,000 prize pool.
The main event will take place in Moscow on October 23-28, with the playoffs stage being played at Park of Legends ice palace. The half of the participants will receive direct invites from the organizers, while four teams will have to make it through the regional qualifiers in Europe, CIS, America and Asia. The last participant will be determined by the Wild Card stage.

The previous EPICENTER CS:GO event was held at Yubileyny Sports Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia. It featured a $500,000 prize pool. In the grand final SK Gaming defeated Virtus.pro with a score of 3-2, receiving $250,000 in prize money.
