Arteezy, Aui and Fly to Play Together Under Canadian Flag at WESG Qualifiers

Canadian qualifiers for WESG will have their own all-star team: Artour "Arteezy" Babaev, Tal "Fly" Aizik, Kurtis "Aui_2000" Ling, Sivatheeban "1437" Sivanathapillai and David "MoonMeander" Tan will play together as Team Canada.

Arteezy is currently playing for Evil Geniuses, fly is the champion of four major tournaments and the captain of OG, 1347 used to coach Team Secret and is currently part of TNC Pro Team. Although both Aui_2000 and MoonMeander are free agents at the moment, previously they participated in some top-tier teams: Aui is well-known for being a part of TI5-winning EG squad, while MoonMeander is famous for his participation in Digital Chaos and OG.

Canadian qualifiers for WESG 2017 will start on January 9th. Top two teams will advance to the American LAN-qualifiers, where the participating teams will compete for their share of a $65,000 prize pool. Besides that, top seven teams will make it to the WESG finals in China with a $1,500,000 prize pool.
