AVANGAR are the Champions of IEM Katowice PUBG Invitational
This weekend IEM Katowice PUBG Invitational featured 16 squads competing for a $50,000 prize pool at IEM EXPO. The event concluded with a victory of AVANGAR – a CIS-team with two Russians and two players from Kazakhstan on board.
The participating teams played eight rounds with first person perspective, earning tournament points for their placements and the number of kills. AVANGAR placed first with 1956 points and 57 kills and received $25,000 in prize money. They were followed by OpTic Gaming with 1881 points and 41 kills and Cloud9 with 1624 points and 45 kills, who got $12,000 and $8,000 respectively.

The previous IEM PUBG Invitational event was held on November 18-19, 2017 at Oracle Arena in Oakland, United States. The prize pool was set at $200,000. The event was won by AAA Gaming, who received $60,000.
