BIG Come Back from 0-2 to Win DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Europe

BIG have become the first team in the history of CS:GO to come back from the 0-2 score in the grand finals of a major event. Yesterday the German team defeated G2 Esports (3-2) in the deciding series of DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 – Europe.

As the upper bracket winners, G2 Esports started the grand finals with a one-map advantage. The French team was able to win the first map – Vertigo – with the 16:6 score. Later, however, BIG emerged victorious at three maps in a row – they won Nuke (16:5), Dust II (16:6) and Mirage (19:17).

BIG started the event by placing first in Group B with the 3-0 score, thus advancing to the upper bracket. There they outplayed FaZe Clan (2-0) and lost to G2 Esports (1-2), dropping to the lower bracket, where they managed to once again beat FaZe (2-0).
