Ceb Leaves OG’s Active Roster
Following the reports of Jesse "JerAx" Vainikka retiring and Anathan "ana" Pham extending his break to the start of the next season, OG announced that their offlane player Sébastien "Ceb" Debs has left the active roster to focus on helping remaining players.
Ceb joined OG is 2016 as a coach, helping the team to place 9-12th at The International 2016 and 7-8th at The International 2017. OG’s roster underwent significant transformation in early 2018, in consequence of which Ceb joined the active roster as an offlaner. With their new roster OG managed to become the first team in the Dota 2 history to win two The International events in a row.
In his statement Ceb explained that while he leaves the organization’s main Dota 2 roster, he still remains in OG and will focus on helping players of all rosters – earlier the organization formed a secondary Dota 2 roster and a CS:GO squad. At the same time, he does not exclude the possibility of his return to the professional scene in future.
Ceb’s statement also indicates that Topias Miikka "Topson" Taavitsainen and Johan "N0tail" Sundstein will continue to play for the team, while Titouan "Sockshka" Merloz is still the team’s coach. The team is expected to participate in the qualifiers for the next major, ESL One Log Angeles 2020.
