Dota Underlords Releases with a Major Update
Dota Underlords has left early access – the game has been updated to version 1.0, which intruded a new PvE gamemode City Crawl, plenty of customization options, as well as several gameplay mechanics. Besides that, the update marks the start of the first season and thus the launch of the first Battle Pass, which offers more than 100 rewards.
Main New Features:
- New game mode City Crawl, which allows to complete different challenges, including puzzles, to unlock new rewards
- New Battle Pass that offers over 100 rewards such as new boards, map props, wanted poster arts, and more. A basic version is free and offers 20 rewards, while the premium version costs $4,99 and offers over 100 rewards
- Three new alliances – Summoner, Vigilant and Void, while Scrappies and Inventors were removed
- Hero rotation: Alchemist, Bounty Hunter, Clockwerk, Enchantress, Gyrocopter, Kunkka, Sniper, Timbersaw and Tinker were rotated out, while Arc Warden, Magnus, Luna, Windranger, Mirana, Tidehunter, Enigma, Nature’s Prophet, and Templar Assassin were brought back to the game
- 9 new items, while Aoen Disk and Healing Ward were removed
- New item category HATS, which add an additional Alliance to the equipped unit
- Multiple balance changes for heroes, alliances and items
Dota Underlords is a standalone game based on the community created Dota 2 map Dota Autochess. The game was released as an early access title last summer and is free to play, available on PC/Mac through Steam and on mobile devices running on Android and iOS.
