ESL One Rio 2020 Teams to be Determined through Regional Qualifying Events

The participants of the only CS:GO major of this year – ESL One Rio 2020, which is scheduled to be held in November in Brazil – will be determined through Regional Major Rankings, compiled based on the results of the special qualifying events. There will be at least two RMR tournaments – one in May and one somewhere in autumn.

The first RMR event is ESL One: Road to Rio, which will begin in late April and feature 56 teams across all regions competing for a total prize pool of $255,000. The tournament’s line-up includes teams that initially qualified for the cancelled May major and minors, as well as winners of open qualifiers:
