First-Round Matchups for the Budapest Major Revealed

The opening matchups for the first stage of the StarLadder Budapest Major have been revealed. The tournament will begin with clashes between Legacy and FlyQuest, FaZe and Lynn Vision, B8 and M80, as well as GamerLegion and Fluxo. The first round will also feature Fnatic vs. RED Canids, PARIVISION vs. The Huns, Ninjas in Pyjamas vs. NRG, and Imperial vs. Rare Atom.

The first stage of the Major will run from November 24 to 27. Eight teams will advance to the next phase based on its results.

The StarLadder Budapest Major itself will take place from November 24 to December 14. A total of 32 teams will compete for a prize pool of $1.25 million.

It was also announced that, for the first time in Major history, the grand final will be played in a best-of-five format.
