k0nfig Retires from Professional Esports

Veteran player k0nfig has announced his retirement from professional esports. According to him, the decision was not easy — he had been considering it for a long time before realizing that it was time to move on.

In his statement, k0nfig shared that he wants to dedicate himself to working with young players. He admitted that his own career was full of difficult moments that could have been avoided, and now he hopes to help others steer clear of the same mistakes.

The former player said he is ready to share his experience and support those who are just starting their professional journey. He emphasized that he understands how tough it can be to handle pressure, tournaments, and public attention — and he wants to be someone players can turn to for advice.

k0nfig had been competing professionally since 2015. During his career, he won several major tournaments, including EPICENTER 2016 and the BLAST Spring 2020 European Finals. His last team was Ninjas in Pyjamas, where he remained on the inactive roster until March 2025.
