New CS2 Update Adds Community Maps

Valve has released an update for Counter-Strike 2. The main changes affected community maps and also added new cosmetic items to the game.

Four new community-created maps were added: Palacio and Golden have joined the Competitive, Casual, and Deathmatch mode pools. The Rooftop and Transit maps have become available for play in Wingman mode.

At the same time, the Jura, Grail, Dogtown, and Brewery maps were removed from all game modes. This freed up space for the new content.

A significant part of the update was dedicated to expanding the players' Armory. Two charm collections were added: Missing Link Community Charms and Dr. Boom Charms, totaling 45 new items. Two sticker collections were also introduced to the game: 2025 Community Stickers and Sugarface 2 Stickers, comprising 38 new designs. Meanwhile, stickers from the Gallery Case, Graphic Collection, and Character Craft sets were removed from the Armory.

Technical improvements were also introduced. Sniper scopes now display shooting inaccuracy, and weapon charms slightly jiggle at the sound of the player's footsteps. The update also includes fixes for the Ancient map, changes to skins for the MAC-10 and R8 Revolver, and a number of other fixes which can be reviewed on the official website.
