HEROIC win FISSURE Universe 7, defeating MOUZ in the grand final
HEROIC have claimed the championship title at FISSURE Universe 7, taking down MOUZ 3:1 in the grand final. For Scofield’s squad, this marks their first tournament victory in nearly a year — exactly 364 days since their last triumph at PGL Wallachia 2.
In the decisive match, Crystallis once again picked his signature Juggernaut, on which he had a 16-game win streak leading up to the final. This time, however, the hero failed to deliver — the player ended the tournament with three straight losses on that pick.
For their victory, HEROIC earned $125,000 in prize money, while MOUZ took home $60,000 for second place. FISSURE Universe 7 was held from October 5 to 12 with a total prize pool of $250,000.
The next major event, BLAST Slam IV, kicks off on October 14. The tournament will feature the updated rosters of Spirit, BB Team, and Tundra, with both HEROIC and MOUZ also set to compete.
