Virtus.pro and Avulus Qualify for FISSURE Universe 6

Virtus.pro and Avulus have advanced to the main stage of the FISSURE Universe 6 Dota 2 tournament. Virtus.pro secured their slot by defeating Avulus 2:1 in the upper bracket final of the Play-In stage.

Despite losing to Virtus.pro, Avulus received a second chance in the lower bracket and made the most of it by overcoming 1w Team, also with a 2:1 score.

The Virtus.pro lineup features V-Tune, stand-in Serenada, Daxak, OneJey, and Rein. Avulus fields Smiling Knight, Worick, Xibbe, dEsire, and Fly.

The Play-In stage matches took place online from July 23 to 27. The main phase of FISSURE Universe 6 will be held online from August 19 to 24. The prize pool for the event is $250,000. Organizers have yet to announce the full list of invited participants, which now includes Virtus.pro and Avulus.
