FLASHPOINT Season 1 Complete Line-Up Revealed

The number of founding members of FLASHPOINT League has been reduced from 10 to 8, with the Chinese organization FunPlus Phoenix taking the last place in the list. Currently the organization’s CS:GO roster remains unannounced, however according to some rumours they may sign Heroic’s line-up.

To complete the tournament’s line-up of 12 teams, the organizers increased the number of qualified teams from 2 to 4. Initially the LAN qualifier was won by BIG and Orgless, however the German team BIG decided to withdraw from the event. Thus, the event will be attended by Chaos EC and HAVU Gaming, who placed 3rd-4th in the qualifier, as well as by Copenhagen Flames, who finished 5-6th.

FLASHPOINT Season 1 is scheduled for March 13th – April 19th and will take place at FACEIT Studio in Los Angeles. The tournament’s prize pool is set at $1,000,000.
