ForZe, Complexity and Gen.G Qualified for DreamHack Open Anaheim 2020
The regional qualifiers for DreamHack Open Anaheim 2020 have concluded in both Europe and North America. ForZe will be representing the European region, while Complexity Gaming and Gen.G Esports managed to make it through the NA qualifier.
On their way to the finals, forZe outplayed AVEZ (2-0) and GODSENT (2-1). In the grand finals the Russian team outplayed the Danish squad Heroic with the 2-0 score, emerging victorious at both Inferno (16:9) and Nuke (16:4). As for The North American qualifier, Complexity managed to beat INTZ (2-1) and eUnited (2-0), while Gen.G defeated Chaos EC (2-1) and Riot Squad (2-0).
Earlier organizers of the event invited ENCE, FURIA Esports, MIBR, and North, while Endpoint qualified to the event by winning ESL Premiership Winter. The main event is scheduled for February 21st-23rd and will feature a $100,000 prize pool. The winner will qualify for a $250,000 event DreamHack Masters Jönköping 2020.
The closest DreamHack event, however, will begin already this week – DreamHack Open Leipzig 2020 will be held on January 24-26th in Germany. Among participants are BIG, North, Renegades, Virtus.pro, Heroic, MAD Lions, Cloud9, and Sprout.
