Preview of BLAST Pro Series: Global Final 2019

BLAST Pro Series: Global Final 2019 begins tomorrow in RIffa, Bahrain, where four best teams of BLAST Pro Series Circuit – FaZe Clan, Team Liquid, Astralis and Ninjas in Pyjamas – will compete for a $500,000 prize pool.

The competition will be held on December 12-14th and follow a double-elimination playoffs format, where all matches will be best-of-three. In the first series FaZe Clan will compete with Ninjas in Pyjamas (12:00 PM), while Astralis will play with Team Liquid (4:00 PM).

According to GG.Bet’s outrights, Astralis are the clear favourites of the event. The champions of StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 have had a very successful last month as they emerged victorious at both IEM XIV – Beijing and ECS Season 8 – Finals. However, lately they placed 4th at ESL Pro League Season 10 after losing 1-2 to mousesports in the semifinals.

Team Liquid have the second highest chances to win. This summer the North American team managed to win six premier events in a row, however this fall was not so successful for the squad – for example, at the latest BLAST Pro Series in Copenhagen they placed 5th. Their most recent event was ECS 8 Finals, in the grand finals of which they lost to Astralis (1:2).

The official English stream will be available on this Twitch channel.
