T1 Sign fRoD as their Valorant Coach
The South Korean organization T1 is continuing to build up their North American VALORANT roster. Their newest addition is Daniel "fRoD" Montaner, a former Counter-Strike and Overwatch player who joined the team as a coach.
33-years-old fRoD is mostly known for his tenure in compLexity Gaming in 2005-2006, with whom he emerged victorious at multiple largest events of the time, including CGI 2006, CPL Summer 2006 and ESWC 2005. In 2016 he switched to Overwatch, where played for FaZe Clan. He started his coaching career in CS:GO in 2019, working with Swole Patrol and Lazarus Esports.
Earlier T1 added to their VALORANT roster former CS:GO players Braxton "brax" Pierce, Keven "AZK" Larivière and Austin "crashies" Roberts. Reportedly, the organization might also sign Victor "food" Wong, who recently left Swole Patrol.
