Tribo to Major, the Fall RMR Event for South America, Announced

The first details on the final RMR event of the current circuit for South America have been revealed – the tournament called Tribo to Major will be held on September 19th – October 11th, featuring 6 teams competing for a $15,000 prize pool.

The line-up consists of four invited teams – BOOM Esports, Isurus, Imperial e-Sports and RED Canids, as well as two qualified teams, which are not determined quite yet – the open qualifiers featuring up to 512 teams will be run on September 11th – 13th.

The main event will begin with a round-robin stage, which will determine four participants of the playoffs stage with single-elimination bracket. All matches within the event will be best-of-three.

South America is one of the two regions, with Oceania being the second, which earlier had only one RMR-event – ESL One: Road to Rio. The winners of the previous event BOOM Esports are the only team in the region who managed to survive without roster changes, thus not losing points – currently they are placed first in the ranking with 1600 points, and are followed by Isurus (1200), Imperial (840), and RED Canids (780). To secure the only ticket to the major, BOOM Esports need to place 3rd or higher at the upcoming event.
