Astralis Defeat Avangar in StarLadder Major Berlin 2019 Grand Finals

StarLadder Major Berlin 2019 has concluded with a convincing victory of Astralis – in the grand finals of the $1,000,000 event they defeated AVANGAR with the 2-0 score, securing $500,000 in prize money.

Astralis started the competition from the New Legends Stage, where they placed 3rd after defeating DreamEaters, G2 Esports, CR4ZY and losing to NRG Esports. In the playoffs the Danish team defeated Team Liquid (2-0) in the quarterfinals and NRG Esports (2-0) in the semifinals. In the grand finals Astralis emerged victorious at both maps – 16:6 at Inferno and 16:5 at Dust II.
