CS:GO Asia Championship 2019: Mousesports Defeat ENCE In the Finals
CS:GO Asia Championship 2019 saw a European grand final, where Mousesports defeated ENCE with the 2-0 score. The winners received $250,000, while the runner-ups were awarded $100,000.
Both mousesports and ENCE advanced to playoffs from Group B, where placed second and first respectively. As winners of the group, ENCE started the elimination stage in the semifinals, where managed to beat MIBR (2-1). Mousesports started the playoffs stage from the quarterfinals, where they defeated Evil Geniuses (2-0), and later in the semifinals outplayed the crowd-favourites TYLOO (2-1). In the grand finals mousesports emerged victorious at both Train (16:10) and Inferno (16:11).
CS:GO Asia Championship 2019 was held on November 20-24th in Shanghai, China. The event featured eight teams competing for a $500,000 prize pool. First, they competed in two GSL groups. Then top three teams from each group advanced to a single-elimination playoffs bracket.
