IEM Oakland: Only Four Remain
Intel Extreme Masters Season XII Oakland is in full swing – after the group stage and the first phase of the playoff stage only four teams remain in the race for a $300,000 prize pool.
The tournament started with a group stage, in which 12 participating teams were placed into two groups with the round-robin format and best-of-one matches. Top teams in each group advanced to the semifinals, second and third teams advanced to the quarterfinals.

In the quarterfinals SK Gaming defeated OpTic Gaming (16:2 at Overpass; 16:12 at Inferno), while Cloud9 outplayed Gambit Esports (16:19 at Overpass; 16:11 at Cobblestone; 16:11 at Mirage). In the semifinals Ninjas in Pyjamas will face SK Gaming and FaZe Clan will play versus Cloud9.
