Nigma Defeat RNG in the WePlay! Bukovel Minor Finals
WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020 has concluded with Nigma defeating Royal Never Give Up in the event’s finals, claiming $72,000 in prize money and 140 DPC points, as well as advancing to DreamLeague Leipzig Major.
Nigma started the competition by placing second in Group B, where they lost their first match against EternalEnvy’s team Fighting PandaS (1-2), however managed to bounce back and win FURIA Esports (2-0) and get back at PandaS in the decider match (2-1). Later on Nigma lost their first playoffs series against Royal Never Give Up (1-2), dropping to the lower bracket, where they managed to outplay Gambit Esports (2-1) and Geek Fam (2-0). In the grand finals they lost the first map, however managed to win the following three maps in a row, finishing the match with the 3-1 score in their favour.

WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020 was held on January 9-12th in Ukraine, featuring eight teams competing for a $300,000 prize pool, 660 qualification points and an invitation for DreamLeague Leipzig Major 2020, which will take place on January 18-26 in Germany.
