The North American organization Chaos Esports Club has completed its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster by acquiring Owen "smooya" Butterfield, who will replace recently benched Gage "Infinite" Green.

Smooya is a 20-years-old AWPer from United Kingdom, whose most recent team was BIG – the British player had been part of the German organization since mid-2018 until January 2020, when he was released from the roster. He placed 5-8th at FACEIT Major: London 2018 and 2nd at ESL One: Cologne 2018 with them. Recently the team’s result declined significantly – just in last few months the team finished the 10th season of ESL Pro League – Europe, barely securing their stop in the next season, as well as finished last at DreamHack Open Sevilla 2019.

Chaos E.C. acquired this roster last November by signing a mix called Ben’s Anime Team. During these few months the team managed to place first in WESG 2019 North America, as well as finished 7-8th at DreamHack Open Atlanta 2019 and won the second open qualifier for IEM XIV – World Championship, however failed to make it through the closed stage.
