Virtus.pro Part Ways with AdreN
Virtus.pro have decided to exclude Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev from their CS:GO roster. The change means the team loses a heavy chunk of their RMR points when there is only one qualifier event remaining.
AdreN has been playing for VP since December 2019. While the team was showing decent results in the regional CIS tournaments, placing 4th at ESL One: Road to Rio – CIS and 3rd at WePlay! Clutch Island, they struggled to reach high places at the international events – this summer they qualified for BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 European Showdown only to place there at the last place. Moreover, the team failed to advance to ESL Pro League Season 12.
Following the conclusion of the previous CIS RMR event WePlay! Clutch Island, Virtus.pro secured the 3rd place in the regional rankings. However, the exclusion of AdreN mean that the team loses 654 points and goes down to the fifth place.
The final RMR tournament of this season in the CIS region – Intel Extreme Masters XV – New York Online – will begin in two months. Virtus.pro are among confirmed participants.
