W33 Is Team Liquid’s New Midlaner
Aliwi "w33" Omar has joined Team Liquid, where he takes place of Lasse Aukusti "MATUMBAMAN" Urpalainen who a week ago was excluded from the team. The player will be playing for the team at the upcoming EPICENTER Major and The International 2019.
W33 is a Romanian mid-lane player mostly known for his time with Team Secret in the 2015-16 season and Digital Chaos in 2016-17. His most recent team was Chaos E.C., with them w33 attended three majors – The Chongqing Major (9-12th), DreamLeague Season 11 (9-12th) and MDL Disneyland Paris Major (13-16th). Last month the player took a break due to health problems.
Team Liquid is currently placed 7th in Dota Pro Circuit rankings with 2820 points, which is enough to secure a spot at The International 2019. Earlier last month they placed second in the European closed qualifier for EPICENTER 2019, qualifying for the major.
