Magisk returns to Astralis
Astralis have officially announced the return of Magisk to their main roster. The veteran rifler will replace stavn, who has decided to step away for personal reasons.
This comeback comes during an unstable period for Astralis. The organization continues to face financial difficulties, confirmed by recent reports, while the CS roster’s results have failed to meet expectations despite heavy investments. The team repeatedly missed out on Major qualifications, which became one of the key factors behind their crisis.
Nevertheless, Astralis showed signs of progress recently. With the arrival of HooXi, the squad managed to reach the finals of major events, including PGL Astana and FISSURE Playground 1, boosting their chances of qualifying for the upcoming Major in Budapest. However, disappointing exits at IEM Cologne and the Esports World Cup have once again raised doubts about the team’s stability.
Magisk recently left Falcons, where he gave way to kyousuke. For Magisk, this marks a reunion with Astralis, the club where he previously won three Majors and multiple trophies.
The current Astralis lineup consists of device, Staehr, jabbi, HooXi, and Magisk, led by coach ruggah. On the bench remain stavn and cadiaN.
