Virtus.pro Bench electroNic

Virtus.pro has announced that team captain electroNic has been moved to the bench. The decision followed shortly after the team’s elimination from BLAST Open London, where they finished last after losing to M80.

For electroNic, this step marks the end of a 16-month stint with Virtus.pro. Previously, FL4MUS and n0rb3r7 were also benched.

In recent months, the team has failed to deliver consistent results: a disappointing run at FISSURE Playground, an early exit from IEM Cologne, as well as weak performances at BLAST Bounty and the Esports World Cup increased the pressure on the roster. Management admitted that the project with electroNic as captain did not meet expectations.

The active roster now includes FL1T, fame, ICY, and Perfecto, with the fifth player to be announced soon. The team’s next tournament will be FISSURE Playground 2, starting on September 12.
