Smooya and Spinx Join c0ntact Gaming for a Trial

In the next couple of weeks c0ntact Gaming will be trying out two new players – Owen "smooya" Butterfield and Lotan "Spinx" Giladi. They will take places of Nestor "LETN1" Tanić and Luka "emi" Vuković, who left the team earlier.

Smooya is a 21-years-old British AWPer, who is mostly known for his tenure with BIG (2018-2020). Earlier this year he also played for Chaos EC for several months, however was benched in March and since then has been without a team. Spinx is an Israeli player who is new to the professional scene – earlier he only played for a mix Tikitakan, with which he competed at Nine to Five #2.

c0ntact Gaming entered the CS:GO scene in early 2020 and apparently had big plans for the team, as they were one of the founding members of the FLASHPOINT League. However, the team was not able to achieve satisfactory results and went through multiple roster changes. Soon the team will start competing at a $40,000 event Eden Arena: Malta Vibes. Their first match against Team Spirit is scheduled for August 28th, 11:00 AM UK Time.
